Delivering Clean Water: New Techniques & Technologies
September 15, 2016 @ 8:00 am - 9:00 am

There is no more important infrastructure than water and waste water infrastructure. There is, however, an estimated $88 billion gap for water infrastructure in Canada. The implications of underinvestment in this critical infrastructure can have serious impacts on health, the environment and the economy. Closing that gap requires committed investment, political attention, and new ideas and technologies. Severn Trent Plc and the Ontario Clean Water Agency serve an almost identical population of almost 8 million people. This conversation will share experiences from Canada and the UK on the challenges faced and latest techniques and technologies being used on both sides of the Atlantic to deliver clean water.
